Obeah and Atlantic Studies

In conjunction with the Atlantic Studies special issue Obeah: Knowledge, Power, and Writing in the Early Atlantic, the ECDA is currently developing a digital anthology on the literary and cultural history of Obeah in the Caribbean. The anthology will offer researchers a digital reading, discussion, and analysis space to study the literature around Obeah and to learn about current scholarly work on this subject. We are currently in the process of acquiring and digitizing the source material for the first edition of the anthology. We have created a temporary page to allow researchers access to some of these materials as we continue to build and test the ECDA's new research environment. Please visit http://ecdaproject.org/exhibits/show/obeahandatlanticstudies
